I would like the capability to build distribution lists more easily.
Specifically, I have members of a team which I have utilized the "company"
field to help organize into a group.  I should be able to sort my outlook
contacts on "company", highlight all the individual contacts whom I would
like in the group, right click and select "add to distribution" or "create
new distribution" and have all those highlighted contacts added to the
distribution.

It would also be nice to be able to sort by company in the "add members"
dialog.  Currently "company" isn't even available in the add members dialog
(for building distributions).

I don't understand why you wouldn't just use Categories for this like the
rest of us. DL's are not a reliable or robust way to group Contacts.
You already have the ability to sort any Contacts Folder by Company. That's
what the "By Company" view is for.

nhat if you wanted to select 100 UNIQUE Contacts and add them all to a newly
created Category "CHRIS_RANDOM_LIST" but you did not want to open them all
manually and use the Categories list box...etc  ?

Thanks Russ - I overlooked the obvious...  Anyone else who stumbles on this
may also try the following which was useful:
In Contacts, View > Arrange By > Current View > Categories

This view gives allows you to also CTRL Select unique Contacts, then Edit >
Categories and add them by checking the box...

> Select Contacts > R click > Categories...
