Thanks for the advice Milly.
I tried saving my search but it didn't seem to work right.
When I opened my saved search, I still had to go through all of the advanced
find steps (clicking the advanced tab, picking the Micellaneous Field, then
my custom field, etc.)
I'm probably doing something wrong. Do you know where I can get detailed
instructions on how to set up a custom search as you suggested.
What you describe sounds like what I'm looking for. I need to search my
custom field in the quickest way possible.
Thanks again,
Joe

Perhaps if you put in the customer number all you would have to do from the
saved search is change that one item and have your info in just a few
seconds?

Nope, that didn't work.
When I open a saved search, it still starts at the main advance find window.
I still have to then click on the advanced tab, choose all the fields again
manually. It's the exact same steps as if I were creating a whole new search.
I can't believe Outlook makes it so difficult for such a common method to
search ALL of the data in a contacts folder. Searching data is a basic
element of any database/contact manager program.
I may have to look at using another contact manager program to meet my needs.
Thank you very much for trying to help, it's much appreciated.
