When I enter new contacts, and the contact window opens after name entry, the name appears as follows: Mr. Herman John. Why is the last name appearing where the first name should be? Is there a glitch in my system? You've posted no information that would permit an answer. Post your Outlook version. Post the setting you specified for your Full Name field in Contacts. I am entering the information in the contacts folder by opening the "check full name" screen. When I enter the information in the appropriate boxes and click "o.k." the name appears in the "full name" box as Mr./Mrs. "last name" "first name." You did not post the settings you specified for the Full Name field. If you don't know, look: Tools > Options > Preferences > Contact Options...
