When I try to import data from Excel the following message appears:
An error has occurred in the Microsoft Excel translator while getting the
contents of a file system.

Anyone else had this problem?

Where is the file stored?

I am having the same problem.  I exported my "work" contacts to Excel and
e-mailed them home when I left the job. Now, when I try to import them I am
told I need to install the "REQUIRED TRANSLATOR".  Because I bought this
computer from a 3rd party, I don't have the disk it asks for.  Is this
available for download?

Anyone selling you a PC with software installed is violating the terms of
the MS license agreement unless s/he also conveys to you the media for that
software as well as the certificates of authenticity.  Go to the person who
sold it to you and demand them. Otherwise, purchase a legal copy.
