I used to be able to enter a contact phone number by
simply typing the number (ex: 2123339999) and when I went
to the next field Outlook would automatically format the
number entered to read: (212) 333-9999 - now, when I enter
a phone number in this manner nothing happens.   I have to
enter the area code, parenthesis, spaces and dashes
manually.  Obviously this is time consuming and a pain!
I had this happen once before and can't remember how I
fixed it.  Any help will be very much apprectiated.

If your dialing location is set correctly, masking of phone numbers will be
automatic in Outlook.
