Ask in an Ipod forum.

Apple posts instructions to synch contact from Outlook at the following
address:
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=302268

Using MS Office 2003 (11.5608.5606) under MS Windows 2000 Professional
version 5.0.2195 Service Pack 4 Build 2195, I get the same results - no
import of contacts.

Interestingly, the dialogue box pop-up described for Outlook users does not
appear when I try, which is supposed to read: "A program is trying to access
data from Outlook that may include address book onformation. Do you want to
allow this? If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you should choose
'No'."

Ipod support cannot offer any solutions beyond this, saying that it is a MS
Outlook issue. I figure it is some issue with the set-up of Outlook. If we
can't bring it up in THIS forum, where can we go? Can anyone help?

Thanks,

R Marina

Any sync issue is an issue for the software doing the syncing.  I'm sorry
Apple won't take responsibility for their own methods, but it's still not an
Outlook issue.  Did you read their follow-up article
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=302270 ?
