Expected behavior. Another reason few of us use DL's. Contacts Subfolders
are a better alternative for this purpose.

Well I'm not the one to ask. I'm not a developer. From everything I've seen,
DL's are not being developed actively as a solution since there are others.
As I said, I think it's better to look for methods other than DL's.
