question marks istead letters

On some PC with Outlook 2000 (russian) in folder Contacts on current view
"Address cards" in right side instead cyrillc letters (quick swich button)
displayed question marks. Why?

I'm not sure about Outlook 2000, but when using 2003 it will work if you do
the following: control panel / regional and language options / advanced:
choose Russian for non-Unicode programs & reboot. This will show certain
windows menus in cyrillic depending on their native code. In Outlook 2003 it
will show the contacts index in cyrillic.
