I am trying to recover a lost list of contacts. The folder was named
Vendors and is not visible. There is nothing in the deleted items. It
appears that Outlook stores everything in one pst file. This folder was
deleted or lost, then the pst file written to the hard drive. Is it the
same as changing a letter in word and the deleted words are forever
lost. Is there any way recover the missing contacts. My version is
outlook version 2002. Thank you for any help!

Have you checked that it is not inside another folder?
