Post your suggestion in the body of the message and post it to the correct
newsgroup.  Your suggestion is for Windows Mobile and ActiveSync, not
Outlook.

Actually I believe what he is saying should be in Both.  I too  am having
problems getting WM5 and Outlook 2007 to sync the contacts.   As I am
currently seeking a solution for this, this is the first place I came to look
for a remedy.

The unspoken question posed before us is:
"Is the Sync issue of Outlook contacs with 2007 an Windows Mobile 5 issue,
or is it a Outlook 2007 issue?

My thoughts are it is a Outlook 2007 issue as there is no such issue with
any of the others verions there-of.

Since Outlook has no synching abilities, I fail to see how it could be an issue with Outlook?

Well, no one directly stated that it was a 'problem' with Outlook.  More so a
problem with the compatibility therein.  Hence, radical changes to the
fields/format of the contacts that more-than-likely will break compatibility
with more than just Active Sync somewhere else down the road.   The point
here is awareness and community input that may result in all parties involved
being happy.  If this results in a work-around solution that is arrived at by
the community sharing their knowledge all-the-better.

I fail to see how a 'discussion' can lead to such opposition, it is after
all, the point of such forums.
