I've had instances where a contact in my Outlook folder will display the subject error message. Is there anyway to fix this? "I've had instances" doesn't give us much to go on as far as steps to repro your problem. Let's at least start with your Outlook version, transports, and information store. Is there anyway to fix this? No idea. Issues with Public Folders are far more often Exchange issues than Outlook issues. I've never used Exchange.
