I use  a notebook with XP and an Alcatel OneTouch 756 mobile phone and
Alcatel  Mobile Phones synchronisation SW. The synchronisation is done over
the infrared link.

Up to now it was possible to synchronise all my contacts (over 700 contacts)
from outlook to the mobile phone (this direction only, with forced full
synch).

Now it will only copy somthing like 247 to 248 contacts.
Tying out different variants such as deleting all contacts on the phone then
synchronise does not help.

A similar behavoiur is also when I try to use the "cell phone manager" from
www.mobtime.com. When I try to upload the contacts from Outlook to this
apllication (noy yet to the phone) only 206 contacts are uploaded.

My interpretation is that something in bad in the Outlook (eventually in the
exchange server).

Not an Outlook issue. You need to contact whoever supports your synch
software.

Hi Russ

thanks for your reply.
However I cannot follow that Outlook could not be the problem (as the
behaviour with two different synch SW is the same).
I made a further check. Deleted all conacts (after backup) apart from one.
This one is not synchronized. When I add a new contact, this will always be
synchronized.
Any new idea what could be behind?

No. Sorry. As I said, all synchronization issues are the responsibility of
the synchronization software, not Outlook.
