I would like to add a field to the general card view for contacts in Outlook
2003.  I have tried View/Arrange by/Current View/Customize Current View:
Detailed Address Cards/Fields.  I created the new field in with the new field
button.  The new button appears in the list of fields next to the Field
button.  However, when I click on the OK button and return to the Detailed
Address Card view, the new field does not showup.  Any help would be welcomed.

Address card views by default only show a field when the contact contains data in that field. To change that, choose View | Arrange By | Current View | Customize Current View | Other Settings  and check the box for "Show empty fields."
