I would like to know how to manually create a journal entry for a contact.
For example, I call a contact and want to make notes about the call. Since I
am not using the autodialer to dial OL dosen't automatically offer to start
a new journal entry.  I can click the new journal item button, but that
doesn't associate the item with the contact. thanks for any advise.

You can select the Contact and drag them to the Journal folder.  This starts
a Journal entry and you can write information on it.

Everyone - turn on your Advanced Toolbars and learn how to use the Field
Chooser and Group by Box!!
