I know this is a very elementary question, but I need to know the answer.

I can save the vCard and I can attach the vCard.  My problem is I don't know
what information I am supposed to have on the vCard.

The vCard will contain information from the contact stored in Outlook. You can open it in Notepad if you want to see exactly what it has.
