outlook 2002.  when sending an email, sometimes i don't want that email
address added to my contacts (address book).  is there a way that when
clicking SEND that it would ask if i wanted to add that email address to my
contacts?  Sometimes i respond to general emails and do not need to email
that person ever again.

No version of Outlook except, perhaps, Outlook 2000 IMO does that without
you having added extra code to make it so.  Perhaps you're confusing your
Contacts with the autocompletion name cache, which is completely unrelated
to your Contacts.

Outlook does not and cannot do this. What makes you think it does?
