I want to use Email Merge, but for every intended recipient on the list, I
get the following message, with its annoying and time-consuming message:  "A
program is trying to send mail using Item.Send  Do you want to allow this?"

Help me stop the slow-down!
Thanks,
CC

Set the format of the merge output to HTML, not plain text or attachment.

There are countless posts here that answer your question.
You failed to post your Outlook version, so a customized answer to your
special situation cannot be provided.
Suggest searching the group for one of the answers that fit your version.
Use Google Search. Microsoft's search of newsgroups is worthless.
