I'd like to export the email adresseses from several distribution lists into
an excel spreadsheet. It seems to be impossible. Is there any easy way to do
this?

Save each DL as a .txt file. Open that file in Notepad. Remove the first few lines so that all you have are the names and addresses. Save the .txt file. You can now import it into Excel, because it is a tab-delimited file.
