Person Names Smart Tag should allow you to prefer exchange server

Currently I find the "Enable the Person Names Smart Tag" to be a really
annoying feature, as I work in an office and this feature will prefer email
addresses stored in MSN Messenger as opposed to what's set up on the exchange
server.  I've run into a few cases where I know a person with the same name
as someone I work with, and this "Smart Tag" ends up sending my emails to my
personal contact as opposed to the work contact it was supposed to reach.
Outlook needs a feature where you can have it prefer to send to contacts from
the exchange server as opposed to plucking addresses from other applications.

I also find it to be a really annoying 'feature'.  I turn it off.  Life is
better that way.
Tools --> Options --> Other --> Person Names
Deselect.

(you probably already know that, but for the benefit of other readers that
may share that view.)

I am also finding now that even though this feature is turned off,
occasionally the auto-complete feature for suggesting names will still take
information from the contact list as opposed to the exchange server.  There
has to be a better way....

In no way does autocompletion ever take information from anywhere other than
the autocompletion list.  Ever.

The autocomplete pulls from past entries stored in a .nk2 file locally.

There are 3rd party utilities to view and edit the content of those files.
