how to open a pst. that disappeared after creating a new profile

i had to create a new profile for my email inbox, after doing this my
original inbox files had gone, i have found then but cannot open them i would
appreciate any advice  thanks  eiggom5

What happens when you try...
File-->Open-->Outlook Data File
Navigate to the old .pst file.

thanks for reply, i clicked File.. open.. but no data file appears only box
called OPEN appears asking me to type intenet address of document or folder
and internet explorer will open it, is this right?  eiggom 5

Start Outlook and then follow the instructions William gave you from within
Outlook  :)
