When asking a question such as yours, would be best to state version of
Outlook AND version of Act you are trying to convert (not to mention the
type of information you're looking to have at the end of the process). Saves
a whole lot of time for all concerned and the answer(s) can differ depending
on info you provide.

For the record, we specifically do not deal with Act data directly (last
time I checked Act's own native export function is about as good(?) as
Outlook's native import/export function) so please take this message in the
spirit it's intended - to get you the best answer in the least amount of
time.

We've rec'd mixed responses from many of our customers regarding their
experiences with 3rd party Act->Outlook or Outlook-->Act conversion products
(some of which were understandable given some unreasonable expectations and
hence the less then enthuiastic comments about our counterparts . To be
brutally honest, we've gotten some of those as well about our products - so
everything is relative - can't be all things to all people. - just depends
on what you're looking for and need).

If you're referring to one of the latest versions of Act - would suggest you
search for one of the Act partners (via the Act site or Google) who have
spent the time AND "money" to get the info needed to convert the data
properly. Unless things have changed since I last reviewed this issue
several months ago - they are not making it easy to the point of it just not
being worth the effort (and money) to include Act as a datasource (either
from or to Act) unless the focus is on their products almost exlcusively
(which ours is not even though our focus in the CG series is moving
information into and out of Outlook).
