From our experience, this error generally indicates a "data related" problem
which seems to be borne out by the fact that it appears to be failing at a
specific contact record # from your description.

You have 2 things you can try:

#1 - Save the 3rd workbook to CSV format, import that file and see if that
bypasses the issue.
#2 - If it doesn't - create a clean contact folder - import your 3rd
workbook and look at the last contact successfully imported. Chances are -
the Excel row immediately following this contact is the one causing your
issue. One of the columns has some strange data that Outlook can't handle.
