Removing contact fields

Our organization has just started using Outlook 2003.  We have someone in our
office that added our business directory in a contact folder for the purpose
of exporting it for merging.  However, there are numerous fields that never
get used.  Can I delete these fields from a contact file and pick and choose
which fields show up when entering a new contact?  We just need the basic and
not "callback" 'IM address", etc. etc.

Also, how do I turn on the Advanced Toolbars?

Thank you!

You cannot remove any built-in fields from any items. Just ignore them.
