MS Office Forum / Outlook / Contacts / October 2003Can not check box "Show this folder as an E-mail address book"
I go to send a new email and click on "TO" then "Contacts" it does not list any of my contacts. I can not check box "Show this folder as an E-mail address book" in Contact Properties. (Grayed out) An E-Mail account was created Named "Personal Folders" Type "MAPI" What is going on here?? WinXP & Office XP Thanks Tools | E-Mail Accounts | Add a new directory or address book | additional address books | Outlook Address Book. After you've added the Outlook Address Book to your profile go back to the Contact folder properties and you should find that checkbox enabled.  SignatureAloha, -Ben- Ben M. But when you go to the Contacts folder, right-click it, properties, Outlook Address Book tab you can't check the box for "show as e-mail address book?"
