Is it possible to show the distribution group name in an email, rather than
each individuals name in the group.

Create a new contact whose name is exactly the same as the Distribution
List.  Give this contact your own address.  Then, when you address a
message, place this contact in the To field and the DL contact name in the
Bcc field.

Of, use a mail merge to personalize the message so that each person sees his
or her own address in the To field.
