Upon activesync, I lost all my Contacts! How do I get them back?

I performed an ActiveSync with my PDA and computer, and lost ALL my contacts.
How do I go back and retrieve 800 Outlook contacts?

Not an Outlook issue. Ask in an ActivSync group.
Most people just restore from backup.

Dear Russ, how do I restore from back up? I use a MAXTOR back-up
device, but where is the Outlook Contact file stored?
