I would like to select all contacts from one company, added after a certain
date. Does outlook keep a date added field, and can I select for an export
from that field? How would I do that?  that way, I can send updates to an
outside source without resending the entire contact file.

If you view the Contacts folder in Phone List view, then use the Filed
Chooser you can show the Created Field.  In the Field Chooser, you'll have to
select from Contacts Fields (not Frequently used Fields).

You can sort that field and select those Contacts based on a date range.

You'll need to tell us a bit more about your exporting requirement.

thanks for the quick response.

I keep a mailing list, of just the emails, outside Outlook to send a monthly
newsletter.

since I add new folks, I wanted to select all those added since the last
issue, a date, and export their emails.

thats the reqjuirement.  any ideas?

Make a new Contacts folder, then select the Contacts you want to export. Drag
them into that folder (right mouse drag and select copy).

Export from that folder - the whole folder.
