In OL 2000, when I go into Tools / Address book, I get 2 or more
'Contacts' listed.  The first 2 show nothing and the last 'Contact's in
the list display my addresses.

How do I remove the first 2 'Contacts' from the pull down list.

Are you using Outlook 2000 in Internet Mail Only mode or Corporate/Workgroup
mode?  The second line of Help>About will tell you.

Go to the Tools menu > Services command > Highlight Outlook Address Book
service and click (I think) Properties. Remove the extra folders
