MS Office Forum / Outlook / Contacts / April 2006Address book has no entries!
I have hundreds of contacts in my contact list but the address book is empty. Therefore, when I am addressing new email, there is no list available to pick names from. I have tried importing all the contacts back into Outlook, but the address book is still not populated. Does anyone know how to repopulate the address book??? In Control Panel->Mail Icon->Email Accounts->View or Change->Directory->View or Change. Is the Outlook Address Book service listed? If yes, try deleting it, close and reopen Outlook and then go back a step and add it. If it is not listed, go back one step and select Add.
