MS Office Forum / Outlook / Contacts / April 2006Outlook should have a way to suppress the US (+1) Country Code.
Presently using Outlook 2003 and all of my contacts are within the U.S. The Country Code (+1) is automatically inserted for every contact phone number in Outlook and is both unnessary and takes up monitor space particularly on the limited amount of handheld device space. Can this be removed or suppressed? If you misconfigure your Windows modem and dialing properties so that there is no value specified for dialing a long distance number, Outlook should not add the +1.
