You need to specify what you mean by autofill. Outlook has 2 similar
features (neither called Autofill): autocompletion, which does not use the
Outlook Address Book at all, and autoresolution, which does.

I'm presuming that it must be autoresolution in that
case. When I click the TO: button I want autoresolution
to look in my Public Folder Address books as well as the
GAL, or instead of the GAL.
Is this possible.

Yes. Rather hard to tell you how without knowing your Outlook version. Also,
be aware that autoresolution will search until it finds a match, but will
not continue searching all folders thereafter.
