Hello all - Hoping for a little help with this one.
I have a contact that I can find in outlook 2003 (11.8010.6568) sp2
which I can find when I go to the contacts folder (contacts - mailbox).
When I type in any part of the name it finds it w/o a problem. When I
choose search in and pick "choose folders" the only folder that is
selected is contacts under mailbox terry k. When I choose the folder
list, choose >contact>properties the check mark is checked for "show
this folder as an e-mail address book" with the name "contacts -
mailbox". If I try to build a distribution list >select members the
"show names from the:" is set to Contacts - mailbox but it will not
find the name. Using this method I can also not find the contact by
changing to the other address book available. The name is filed by
"first last". This same contact can also not be found in tools>address
book again regardless of what contacts folder is chosen.
I hope that I have included enough information.
Any help that you have to offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Terry

Examine the settings of your Outlook Address Book.
Verify that it is displaying the Contacts Folder in which your Contacts
reside.
