I created a custom contact form. It lets me design it and save it, but when I
try to open/use it I get the following error message:

The form you selected could not be displayed. The for required to view the
message cannot be displayed. Contact your administrator.

I contacted our Help Desk, Administrator, and more, but no one can find an
answer. Do any of you have any ideas?

Thanks!

Where did you publish the form?

FYI, there is a newsgroup specifically for Outlook forms issues "down the hall" at microsoft.public.outlook.program_forms or, via web interface, at http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx?dg=microsoft.public
.outlook.program_forms

I tried many different places to publish it from my Personal Forms Library to
creating its own folder.

Thanks for the newsgroup info, I will check it out.

Depending on your Outlook version (which you didn't mention), publishing a form to multiple locations may cause forms cache corruption and thus the symptoms you are seeing. I would suggest removing all published copies but one.

I have Outlook 2003
When I originally published it, it gave me that error right away and that is
why I continued to try different things.
I will try again by deleting them all and restarting.
