import all names in category to distribution list

is there any way to make a distribution list using all names in a certain
category, without having to go through all the names in one's list and trying
to find those in that category?

View your Contacts folder in the By Catgory view to see everyone in the same
categories. To send a message to everyone in a category, select the
category and click Action>New Message to Contact.

Not an easy way. Nor a need.
If you already have gone to the trouble of creating Categories, use them
instead of DL's. They are much more flexible and reliable.
