Now you see how fragile DL's are. Few of us use them for that reason.
They usually survive a copy to another folder in the same PST, but not
always. They never survive transfer to another PST.

I am not sure, if fragile is proper word for it :-( I am loosing this link
between DL's contact and contact card of the particular user during any
movement (including one PST as well). The result is, that email adresses in
DL are still working, but when I update the user card, the change is not
taking affect in DL (link is broken forever). I cannot beleive, that
Microsoft thinks, that people are creating distribution lists forever,
without any movement needs.

The Update Now button has never worked, at least not in the setting of
PST's.
My guess is that Microsoft expects us to abandon DL's in favor of other more
robust alternatives, such as categories.
