Export  Public Folder Contacts to Excel Directly

Why does it appear that this can't be done without some stuffing around and
going via an indirect route.
What was m$ thinking when they restricted this.

Why can you only export to a PST form a public folder?

You may find our new ContactGenie Exporter of interest which among many
other things does export to Excel (as well as exporting either Exch or SMTP
(or both) email addresses. More info - http://www.contactgenie.com/cgx.htm
