I had to have my computer restored after a OS corruption. My Outlook
contacts were restored as .pst files on my computer, which I am trying to
import into Outlook Express (don't know what those guys did with my Outlook
program). I'm not able to do it; when I hit import and browse to the file,
it's empty (but I know the files are there, when I go there directly).
Any help would be appreciated!

Not sure if Outlook Express can import from Outlook if Outlook isn't
installed...

is it possible to try to save the .pst folder as something else, then import
it? or am I SOL?

Probably not since Outlook is one of the few programs to read PSTs

Outlook Express cannot read Outlook PSTs. Period.
