Have persons who are members of two different orgs with different titles in
each. If set up separately with different name, display, and show as, still
get both in to: line when trying to send email.  How to make separate
contacts for each with appropriate title and category so as to be able to
select for dist list, etc.

Read your post.
If it makes sense to you, translate it into English for the rest of us. Do
not shy away from such things as complete sentences and normal syntax.

Ok Russ, I will try to translate:

Jim Smith is in org. A and is a Rep.  by title.
He is also in org. B without a title, but with same email address.

Need to be able to send email to Jim Smith as "Rep. Jim Smith" when sending
to org. A, but also need to be able to send email to Jim Smith without a
title when sending to him individually or as a part of org. B.

Does that help?  Buckskin

Aloha Buckskin,

And when you say "orgs" do you mean Exchange Organizations or do you mean
"Sierra Club" and "Bank of America"?
