How to speak in outlook phone dialer.

How do I configure a headset for use in outlook. I can hear my contact but
they can't hear me .The mike works o.k. in other applications but when I
click on "talk" it disconnects the phone.

Outlook uses the Windows dialer which has no ability to transfer over to
voice.
