I want to back up my Outlook 2000 address book but cannot
find the file.  It's not *.PAB or *.WAB (no files with
these extensions exist on my hard disk).  I even tried to
export the records using "File > Export", but "Export" is
unavailable.  As suggested by a MS FAQ, I changed the
sharing option so that this information was not shared,
but "Export" is still grayed out.  Can anyone tell me what
file this address book is using, or how to make "export"
available???  I'm going crazy.  (Note that I'm not using
the regular "Contacts" from Outlook; it's MS Address Book
5.0, according to "Help - About".

Thanks.

Post your mail support mode. Line 2 of Help | About if you don't know.
Outlook does not use an address book. All Outlook data is stored in the same
file. That file is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.

Take a look at these pages for info on Outlook data backup:

I am glad to introduce another superior PIM software to you. Please
visit http://www.superpim.com.cn and download SuperPIM. It's much
better than outlook when organizing your contacts. If you have any
questions, please email to me.
