How to populate fax document with contact fields

In Contacts, under Tools there is an option to create a new letter.  This
opens a letter wizard with various options.  I would like to add an option
that uses a fax template instead of letter template.  Are there any existing
fax templates that I can copy into the appropriate folder?  Or can I copy one
of the letter templates as a fax template?  Which folder holds the templates?

Your Outlook version is in play but was not provided.
Most users abandoned the New Letter to Contact Wizard long ago. Most just
try to create and reuse a merge document in Word.
Take a look here for some other ways to merge Contact data to a new letter
to a Contact:
