the problem is the adddress good,, when i click on address book no contacts
are listed,, to get the contacts list i have to click on the address book,,
got into tools and select one of the 5 contact books listed, have tried
clicking on remove to get rid of any empty address books but although they go
off the list initially when i go back in they are still their

Just remove the invalid entries here:
Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or address
books > Outlook Address Book > Change.
