I loaded all my contacts and seperated them in to categories.  I click on a
category and hit action and click on new message to contact.  An email form
pops up and I send it.  It says that it has been sent but no one gets it.  Am
I loading in the information wrong on the contacts.  I even tried to create a
distribution list and It doesn't want to send.  If I click on an individual
contact it does send.

What does the email form that "pops up" contain in its To: field?
What Outlook version and what mail transport?

2003 outlook

The outlook message email has all of the names in the category.  The name
shows first then in <> or () has the persons email address.

Not sure about the mail transport

You don't know what kind of email account you use?
Are the email addresses in the To: field resolved (underlined)?
Do you get any error messages about some of your Contacts not having email
addresses before the New Message Window opens?

operated by Nortel.

Then it's time to check with the administrator of your mail server to see
how many recipients they allow.

Interesting?  They can control the amount of receipients an email can go to?

Does it matter if the email address next to there name is in ( ) or < >?

Indeed. Most mail servers set a limit on how many recipients you can send to
in an effort to reduce spam.

If what you've told me is all correct, that's the only explanation left. If
the address is resolved and if you can send to that Contact as an
individual, what else can it be?
