I have a new laptop under XP, and use Outlook 2000.

As usual, I want to import my outlook contacts (via the import .pst)
procedure which I have already use with another laptop.

It does not work this time as I am getting a message telling me that i am
not authorized to access the .pst file that I have created with my main
computer with the export procedure on a CD r .Needless to say i am using the
same version of outlook on both.

Help urgently.

Copy your PST to your hard drive and remove the "read only" attribute and
you should be ok.
