Any idea in outlook 2003 connected to 4smartphone.com exchange server why
contact notes won't save? Also, if I have contact notes in a record and
change the note and then try to save it, the notes are erased.

Also, I have found that if after entering info in the "notes" contacts field
and then click onto the "Details" part of the form and then save, that the
notes section will save. Any idea what is going on here?

I figured it out. I installed an outlook add-in called Signature2Contacts
which caused the problem. I uninstalled it and the problem went away. I have
been in touch with the software company. They are working on a fix for the
issue.
