My contacts folder is not visible in the navigation pane yet when I click the
contacts tab, all my addresses are there but it will not allow me to copy to
a new folder named contacts.  It says it's already there.  How can I make it
visible again?

State your Outlook version and view. Clarify what you mean by "Contacts
Tab." We have no idea to what you are referring.

Microsoft Outlook 2003. Contacts tab where you can click on mail, calendar,
contacts etc. that is viewable in the Navigation Pane.  It has always been
there before today.  When I booted this morning, it was gone.  I run Windows
XP Professional.

I did, I even did a repair/reinstall both of the application.  I didn't
remove it totally as I hate to loose all the customized settings that I have
set but it may come to that and I don't even know if that will solve it.
Thanks for the response.

Just so I'm certain, you claim that the Contacts Navigation button is
missing from the bottom of the Navigation pane, or did you mean something
else? How did you reset the Navigation Pane and which buttons did you select
for display?
