Hi,

I have a database in Word. I need to create contacts in
outlook 2002, using information from this database. Is
there any existing functionality in outlook for doing
this, or should I write VBA code ?

Thanks.

If you have your data properly constructed in your Word doc (i.e. one
contact per row, and every field properly delimited - either with tabs or
commas etc - making sure that you don't have any "delimitor character"
within a data field etc etc ) - then simply save your file as a plain "text
file" and import that.

Karl

PS - would recommend that you migrate this file to Excel if you want to
continue to maintain this list outside of Outlook.
