How to keep Sync program from duplicating contacts on my PDA?:

I have a Dell Axim 5 with Windows Mobile 2003 operating system and use it
with Sync Ver 3.8  with my Windows XP Microsoft Outlook on my Desk top.I keep
having the Pda being loaded with duplicate Contacts and Calendar entries upon
Syncing. The software keeps asking to combine both Pda and Outlook contacts
and Calendar enties. If I chose the other options available, the data made in
the field on my Pda is lost. When I first statrted using the Sync this did not
happen.
I would appreciate the answer to this.

Ask in an Activesync group - not an Outlook problem.  Try
microsoft.public.pocketpc.activesync.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact.  All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
