I set up a distribution list in Outlook 2003 from my contacts. When I send a
message to that distribution list the message is received by them at last
count 28 times. After the initial action of sending the message, it did not
move from the outbox. Is there a problem with the list or something else.
When I send messages to other contacts by individually selecting them the
problem does not happpen.

If you're scanning outgoing mail with an antivirus program, disable the
scanning.  Increase your send/receive interval and your server timeout
value.
