Can't Add New Contacts (feature not implemented)

A friend asked for help with her Outlook. She thinks she installed a
trial version of some Office product but is unfortunately vague about
exactly what she did.  The current upshot is she can't add new contacts
to Outlook.  The message returned is "feature not implemented".

She can modify or delete from her contacts, but no adds.

I've been searching the web for a while, and sure would be pleased if
anyone can provide me with some bread crumbs on how to fix this.  Right
now, I'm figuring on uninstall-reinstall... :-S

Thanks.

There is no information here. Start by providing the Outlook version, what
type of information store is used, how the address book service is
configured, and how the user is trying to add Contacts.
